Mission & Vision

Mission and Vision Statement of Faith

We believe that a person must be baptized totally immersed in water In the Name of Jesus as stated in Acts 2:38.  We believe that baptism is essential for salvation.

We believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the physical evidence of speaking in tongues as stated in Acts 2:4 is a normative Christian experience.

We believe in the other tenets of the Apostolic Doctrine as interpreted by the Apostolic Church is that every believer should repent of his/her sin and live a consecrated life.

Mission

The mission of Greater Apostolic House of Prayer Church is to release the awesome, the incredible strategy of God which is already in existence.

He who hath planned Christianity in the world will preserve it as long as the word stands. “Christ will have a Church!” Until the mystery of God shall be finished.

BELIEF AND FOUNDATIONAL MANDATES:
The requirement of faith or confidence in God is not arbitrary. He that cometh to God, must believe that he is “The Self-Existing God”, though he see him not. It’s impossible to make an acceptable approach to him unless we have this belief. It is done on conviction. Believe that He is what He has revealed himself to be in the scriptures.

CONTINUE BIBLICAL PRINCIPLE BUILDING:
Knowledge and wisdom through continued wisdom and knowledge seeking by word teaching and revelatory understanding.

The Gospel excluded none that do not exclude themselves. It’s impossible to be saved unless we continue to lead lives becoming the gospel, designed to be preached to every creature. Continue in the faith, not permitting yourselves to be seduced by any. Warning and teaching every man in all wisdom, if ye already believe we now commit you to God and the word of His grace which can build you up and give you an inheritance.

LIVING A CONSECRATED AND ANOINTED LIFE:
Our exhortation is to constancy with the accompanying warnings about the outcome if the life is either rejected or despised. He has consecrated and inaugurated a new and living way vital and perpetual. Which he has consecrated for us Christ’s suffering in the flesh forever removes the barrier.

GOSPEL COMMISSION:
Matthew 28:19
The task is evangelizing, inculcating (which means instill by repeated teaching) Christ’s precepts. We are sent out as ambassadors and have been given credentials along with a blessed promise that Christ’s presence as well as his authority shall empower his servants to perform this commission.

CONCLUSION:
Taking everything into consideration, there needs to be a proper acknowledgement of who He is, what He demands of men in everyday life, setting aside all matters of disputation fear God and obey him constitutes man’s whole being. We can expect God to reward righteousness and punish evil the heart attitude is important in God’s sight as well as one’s public actions.

Vision

Forgetting those things which are behind and pressing toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God which is in Christ Jesus.  Our vision is to minister the gospel to the least the last and the lost effectively with the evidence of the changed life emerging.

Making A Joyful Noise Unto The Lord – Praise is what we do.

Praising and magnifying God in spite of how we feel knowing that He who has began a good work in you is faithful to complete it.

Spreading The Gospel To All The World – Mission and Kingdom Building

Feed the sheep of God on a global and international level according to scripture.  Going into all the world and preaching the gospel to every creature.

Reach the lost outside the walls of the church. Fully believing in the planting and watering principles of the word and watching God give the increase.

Seeking peace with all men through continual fellowship building.

Teaching The Word Of God

Continue to teach the unadulterated word of God without distinction; thereby rightly dividing the word of truth.
